Ireland – Social work services without accommodation – MIDLAND REGIONAL SUPPORT SERVICE

The four Local Authorities of Longford, Westmeath, Laois and Offaly, in cooperation with other relevant statutory, community and voluntary agencies working in the homeless sphere in this region, form the Midland Region Joint Homelessness Consultative Forum (MRJHCF). Under Ministerial Direction, pertaining to specific regulations emanating from the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009, Westmeath County Council has been designated the “Lead Authority” for this homeless region.
