Ireland – IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support – Direct Award of Contract for provision licence renewals to Oracle EMEA

Dublin City Council has directly awarded a contract to Oracle EMEA for a period of 12 months at a value of €1,077,060.58 for the provision of licence renewals. This was awarded via the Negotiated Procedure without prior call for competition under Directive 2014/24/EU Article 32.2 (b) which states that this procedure may be used where the works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for (iii) the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights.
