Ireland – Printed books – Supply of Books to the Trinity College Dublin Gift Shop

Trinity College Dublin proposes to directly award a 12 month contract to Argosy Independent Book Wholesalers for the continued supply of books for resale through the Trinity College Gift Shop and online, pursuant to Article 32(3)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU. Trinity College Dublin has considered the available supply market, including other Irish wholesale and distribution channels. While alternative suppliers operate in specific segments of the book market, none has been identified as providing the required combination of comprehensive multi-publisher wholesale supply, specialist Irish title coverage, flexible low-volume ordering, and rapid replenishment required to meet the requirements of the Trinity College Gift Shop.
