Ireland – Consultative engineering and construction services – Service Requirement for Technical Consultancy Services for Shannon River Bridge Inspections Tender

The Department of Transport are proposing to fund an extensive bridge inspection program for each of the selected bridges noted within the tender along the Shannon and some tributaries with a view of establishing the following: • The structural condition of each of the structures • Establishing a load rating on specific bridges • Identifying what maintenance work would be required (if any) on each of the bridges • Establish a maintenance plan for the bridges Limerick City and County Council will act as the lead authority for this appointment.
