Ireland – Hospital and related services – Outsourcing of Remote Sleep Studies/Sleep apnoea diagnostics

Currently in Beaumont Hospital there are patients waiting without an appointment for sleep studies/diagnostics. It is Beaumont Hospitals intention to outsource these patients to an external provider (WatchPAT) to perform their sleep studies remotely. WatchPAT is a clinically validated, multi-channel home sleep apnoea diagnostic device. It offers a streamlined, scalable approach to sleep diagnostics-enabling faster patient throughput with minimal staffing, while maintaining a high standard of patient care. WatchPAT Direct (Fully Managed Service), is an end-to-end outsourced managed service. Due to the fact that Beaumont Hospital is an acute hospital and on the grounds of patient care, time is of the essence in completing this outsourcing. The Contracting Authority undertakes that this purchase will not be made until a period of fourteen calendar days has elapsed, commencing on the day after the date of dispatch of this notice for publication.
