Ireland – Data services – PROVISION OF CLOUD DATA SERVICES

Provision of cloud data services. All central government bodies have been urged by OGCIO to utilise cloud services where possible to ensure operational resilience in light of the HSE attack. Due to the business critical nature of the cloud services (inc. backups and disaster recover) provided by AWS, OPW has no option but to continue with the service such as it is until a new OGP framework is available.
