Ireland – Environmental protection – Strategic Environmental Assessment, Appropriate Assessment Services and Strategic Flood Risk Assessment Services for the preparation of the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) 2026-2032.

The Southern Regional Assembly (SRA) invites tenders for the appointment of suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake the following assessments required as part of the preparation of the Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy for the period 2026-2032: (1) Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA). (2) Screening for Appropriate Assessment (AA) and preparation of a Stage 2 Appropriate Assessment if required. (3) Regional Flood Risk Appraisal. The appointed consultant(s) will be required to work with the planning team of the Southern Regional Assembly throughout the review period to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements, ensure the environmental considerations are integrated into the new Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES) and assist in the associated consultation and decision-making process as required.
