Ireland – Road construction works – CFT 3727 - Bawnogue District Centre Enhancement Project

Mini-competition under framework - CFT 3565 - MPFA for Village and District Centre Enhancement Programme and Public Realm Improvement Works. This scheme will involve the upgrading and modernisation of Bawnogue Shopping Centre and its environment. Works include: • Roadway - Installation of speed tables and narrowing of junction radii. • Cycle Facilities - Installation of. Sheffield bike stands. • Pedestrian facilities - Improvement of footpath fronting the shops to a shared use pavement with new block paving. New street furniture includes public lighting, bins, chess table etc. • Public Lighting – New public lighting will be included in this scheme. • Drainage - installation of raingardens. • Carpark – Rationalization of the car park to create more space for pedestrian and green space.
