University College Dublin request the supply of a High Pressure Freezer for cryo-fixation of biological samples. The purpose of the instrument is to enable rapid automated cryo-fixation of cells and other biological samples without formation of ice crystals. This allows the preserve of the natural ultrastructure for further microscopical evaluation.
