Dublin City Council has invoked Article 32 2 (c) of Directive 2014/24/EU which allows for use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication in so far as is strictly necessary where, for reasons of extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the contracting authority, the time limits for the open or restricted procedures or competitive procedures with negotiation cannot be complied with. The circumstances invoked to justify extreme urgency shall not in any event be attributable to the contracting authority. A contract has been awarded to Peter Mc Verry Trust for the provision of Housing First Services. A contract has been awarded to Peter Mc Verry Trust for the provision of Housing First Services. The service provides intensive visit support along with health support to people under the Housing First programme, this service vital to help people maintain tenancies in the community by providing intensive case management support. The Dublin Housing First provides this service to 523 tenancies across the four local authorities for as long as it required The contract is for a period of 6 months with an option to extend by two further periods of 3 months each.
