Ireland – Advertising services – Supply, Installation, Maintenance and Advertising Rights of Bus Shelters

There are currently approximately 2,250 active bus shelters in Ireland that are the responsibility of the Authority. The Authority intends to enter into the Contract as part of an ‘Agreement covering the Supply, Installation, Maintenance and Advertising Rights of Bus Shelters’ (the “Agreement”), which also contains a number of Schedules containing information relevant to the provision of the Services by the Contractor. The Contract will cover the maintenance of these existing bus shelters, the provision of new bus shelters (either as additions or replacements), the removal of redundant bus shelters, the provision of advertising panels at existing bus shelters, the provision of advertising panels at new bus shelters and the exploitation of such advertising panels by way of the of advertising rights for both existing and new bus shelters. The Contract will also provide for the potential installation (at the Authority’s absolute discretion) of additional advertising panels at non-bus shelter locations and the exploitation of such advertising panels by way of of advertising rights. Tenderers should note that the Authority retains the right to exclude bus shelters (including existing bus shelters) from this Contract as its sole discretion.
