Ireland – De-icing agents – Supply and Distribution of De-Icer Products

Iarnród Éireann seeks to procure the supply and nationwide distribution of de-icer products for use across its rail network. The contract includes the provision of: - Granular De-Icer: For use on station platforms, access routes, footbridges, and other outdoor areas. - Liquid De-Icer (Propylene Glycol): For application on rolling stock brake rigging and rail track junctions. Delivery is required to over 140 stations and multiple depots nationwide, including unmanned locations The contract value indicated is a notional maximum over the full contract term, based on estimated usage. Actual spend is expected to vary and may be lower. The contract was advertised under national procurement rules as it was anticipated that total usage would remain below the EU threshold over the term.
