Ireland – Installation services of electricity distribution and control equipment – TR4356 Design, Manufacture, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Replacement Excitation System and Associated Electrical Studies at ESB, Aghada Gen. Station.

The Contracting Entity intends to procure a design, construct, install and commission contract for the replacement of the Excitation System at ESB’s CCGT (F-class) and associated electrical studies. The Excitation System, which includes Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR),Power System Stabiliser (PSS) and Power Part will work together with the Turbine Controller to ensure the generator’s output remains stable and compliant with Grid Code. It is proposed that the Contract will include (non-exhaustive list – high level scope): · Design, construct, deliver, install and commission replacement AVR/Excitation System, including PSS · Electrical Studies, including Rate of Change of Frequency (RoCoF), Fault Ride Through (FRT), Power System Stabiliser (PSS) calculation and Reactive Capability. · Dismantle and Removal of existing AVR/Excitation System and make ready for disposal. · Ensure complete integration of the new equipment into the existing plant. · Grid Code Testing support. · Supply of spares, and after sales support.
