The Charities Regulator has agreed a 12 month extension to the existing contract, taking the contract from a total advertised duration of 6 years to 8 years. There has also been a slight adjustment to the price to reflect inflation. This is the second 12 month extension and was necessary to ensure continuity of the service in preparation for the re-procurement of a system. The Charities Regulator is satisfied that the extension of the existing contract is justified under Art 72(1)(b) with further details set out below. The competition for the new contract was advertised and is currently underway.
