Ireland – Marine-base support services – MI-CFT26-019 Provision of Shellfish Sample Processing Services

The Marine Institute invites tenders to this request for tenders from economic operators for the provision of shellfish processing services for Marine Institute, Rinville, Oranmore, Co. Galway H91 R673. Currently a requirement exists for a contractor to carry out the initial stages of shellfish sample preparation for analysis. This will include early morning collection of shellfish samples from An Post, Tuam Road, Galway or Marine Institute, Rinville, Oranmore, Co. Galway, H91 R673; inputting of sample details online on to a Marine Institute data base, dissections, homogenisation and delivery of tissue samples to the laboratory within the Marine Institute, Galway. The sample preparation is carried out in the wet laboratory of the Marine Institute. There are three programmes with different sample numbers and varying urgency of delivery of service.
