Ireland – Scanning electron microscopes – Raith Electron-Beam Lithography Hardware and Software upgrade

This voluntary ex-ante transparency VEAT notice acknowledges that Trinity College Dublin intends to award a contract to EM Systems Support Ltd., Media House, London Road, Adlington, Cheshire, SK10 4NL, United Kingdom. The contract is for the refurbishment and upgrade of the Raith Laser Interferometer Stage (LIS) located in CRANN, Naughton Institute, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin 2, Ireland. The upgrade will include: • Stage transfer to a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) • New X, Y, and Z motors • New Piezoblock, drive belts, and slide block • New helium-neon (He-Ne) laser and laser fibre • New motor controller Additionally, the contract covers an upgrade to a Windows 10 workstation, including the installation of Raith ELPHY Quantum OS64bit WIN10 with Raith Nanosuite pre-installed. It also includes engineer time and expenses related to the ELPHY upgrade, LIS refurbishment, and installation work.
