Description

Public relations and communications services are required to make visible the work of a new wetland restoration project, and to showcase the positive changes being brought to the country and region, namely for achievements of the specific objective to support the restoration and rehabilitation of degraded peatlands to enable the transition towards climate-neutrality while also facilitating the diversification and modernisation of the economy of the Just Transition area. A related communications aim is to offer citizens a glimpse of how projects on the ground make Europe more competitive, greener, connected, social and closer to citizens. The wetlands restoration scheme is a three-year (to end 2026) project, co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union through the EU Just Transition Fund Programme.
