Ireland – Medical equipments – Provision of an Auto Slide Preparation System at St Vincent's University Hospital including all associated supplies and services

Histopathology St Vincent's University Hospital (SVUH) is seeking an an Auto Slide Preparation System, including capital equipment, delivery, installation and commissioning, consumables, reagents, training, peripherals, software, warranty, comprehensive maintenance post-warranty, customer support and any updates and upgrades to the software and hardware of the solution, for a Term equal to the anticipated lifespan of the capital equipment or 10 years, on a rolling basis following year 5 of the Term. To the best of our knowledge, this solution is presently available only by Axlab Inc as licensed for distribution in Ireland by Syntec Group. A Voluntary Ex-Ante Publication (VEAT) Notice will be published in OJEU, outlining SVUH’s intention to the market i.e. award a contract without prior call for competition as per Article 32.2.b.ii ''competition is absent for technical reasons'' (Procedure above the EU Thresholds).
