Ireland – Wheel axles and tyres and other parts of locomotives or rolling stock – 7918 - Supply of Wheels and Axles

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is seeking tenders for the Supply of Wheels and Axles in accordance with the Specification and Invitation to Tender. Wheels and Axles will be delivered DDP to a named destination. Iarnród Éireann estimate a yearly requirement of 1600 Wheels and 400 axles. This can fluctuate depending on production demand, fleet condition or scrappage rates. The yearly requirement will be forecasted quarterly, with purchase orders issued reflecting the quarterly forecast and Wheel and axle type. The lead- time required is highlighted in appendix 1 in Tech Spec. Delivery is to be no later than week 2 of each quarter.
