Ireland – Spectroscopy devices – External Testing Services and Transport of Laboratory Specimen for Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan

The HSE invites tenders from Suppliers appointed to the above DPS Project Reference 10421 for the provision of External Testing Services and Transport of Laboratory Specimen for Our Lady’s Hospital, Navan (“OLHN”). The following is within scope for this procurement process: - Testing - perform a set list of tests as specified by OLHN (i.e. blood specimens, urine/fluid/faecal samples, etc.) The above list is not exhaustive and may change over the lifetime of any contract awarded. - Logistics - collection of specimen samples from OLHN and transport to the testing facility. It is a core requirement that collection, transport and distribution of the specimen is carried out under conditions that maintain the integrity of the specimen at all times. - IT Connectivity - electronic ordering of test requests and electronic transfer of patient reports to GP information systems - Online reporting system is available to the lab and access can be granted to clinical teams requiring this - Defined pathway for communication of critical results to GP during routine hours and out of hours
