Ireland – Marine construction works – CON 1077 - Qualification System for Four (4) Categories of Works and Supplies associated with HV Submarine Cables (including Nearshore and Landfall Civil and Marine Works) in the Republic of Ireland

ESB proposes to establish a Qualification System under a negotiated procedure for Four (4) Categories of Works and Supplies associated with HV Submarine Cables (including Nearshore and Landfall Civil and Marine Works) in the Republic of Ireland. It is envisaged that the scope of works to be procured under this Qualification System will be as outlined in the Section A Information Memorandum attached to this publication. Works and supplies will be split into four (4) categories:- Category 01 – All Works associated with HV Submarine Cables including Nearshore and Landfall civil and marine works. Category 02 –HV Submarine Cable supply. Category 03 –HV Submarine Cable installation. Category 04 –Landfall and Nearshore civil and marine works associated with HV Submarine Cables. Economic Operators who wish to participate in this qualification system process should submit a response as set out in the aforesaid Information Memorandum on eTenders. While applications may be made to join the Qualification System at any time, those interested in being considered for the first envisaged works and supplies (the “First Procurement”), must submit a complete QSQ response on or before 17:00hrs (local time} on 25th May 2026. The First Procurement is a circa 3km of single core 400kV crossing of the Shannon Estuary.
