Ireland – Medical equipments – Children Health Ireland (CHI) Provision of Intraoperative Monitoring

This is a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice. This notice acknowledges that CHI proposes to contract with Mr. Ronan Kilbride for the provision of intra-operative neurolophysiological monitoring for brain and spinal surgery. This includes monitoring for brainstem and posterior fossa tumours, cortica and white matter mapping for supratentorial tumour aurgery and epleipsy surgery, placement of stereotactic depth electrodes. It also includes spinal cord and peripheral nerve mapping for complex craniocervical junction surgery, intradural spinal surgery, surgery for dysraphism and surgery for complex tone management. There are no alternative or substitute solutions to proving this very specific expertise in Ireland.
