How we protect your data

Data Hosting

All data is hosted in the EU (Ireland). Our infrastructure is managed by industry-leading cloud providers with established security certifications.

Encryption

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. All connections to TenderFlare use TLS 1.2 or higher.

Authentication

Passwords are securely hashed — we never store your password in plain text. Session tokens are issued with expiry and are invalidated on logout.

Data Sources

TenderFlare aggregates public procurement data only. Our sources are:

eTenders via data.gov.ie (Irish public sector tenders)
TED via the EU Publications Office (EU-wide tenders)

We do not scrape private or restricted data sources.

Personal Data & GDPR

We collect minimal personal data — only what is needed to operate your account (email, name). We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.

AI Usage

TenderFlare does not use AI to process user data or make automated decisions about users. Your data is never used to train AI models. Search is keyword-based and analytics are statistical.

Data Processing Agreement

A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request for organisations that require one. Please contact us to request a copy.
